On The Other Hand by gilad On The Other Hand by gilad

We have our own life to take care of
Our own family and friends

We have our own job to take care of
Making money and having careers

We have our own problems to take care of
Our feelings and what other think of us

We have our own health to take care of
Staying fit and keep our weight

We have our own goals to take care of
What we want to do and where we want to be

On the other hand
We are better humans just because we care for others

i've always loved this series. Last I travelled to a wheat field I was going to try this concept out but it had only been about a foot high. would have made for a funny + awkward photo hahaha

I really like this work. it is a beutiful concept and deals with an important message (together with your poem).
I really love the colours in this one, even more then the ones in the sepia version.

Cool...but I think the hand/arm is much to close to the edge. 1/3 quadrants would have worked perfect for this.

This reminds me vaguely of a dream I had... *contemplates*

It's quite sombre and deep. It kind of absorbs the onlooker[me]. Nice texture. :nodnod:

I just saw Young @ Heart (a documentary about a group of 80 year olds who sing Punk and other modern songs. It says: It is not how long you live that counts, it is how much joy and beauty you bring to this world that is most important. These folks don't die young and leave a beautiful corpse. But they face death with the certainty that they LIVED.
