You don't write me anymore

I'm writing now, my final letter
I will never write you anymore
Just this last one, so you will know
I'm moving on from my mailbox on the wall

You went away, carrying my heart in your suitcase
You said you wanted to always be carrying me with you
You said you would write to keep us together
You said that in your words we will love for eternity
You

After awhile the letters got shorter
Fewer words to keep you near
Each envelope filled with fake smiles
And bigger pieces of my broken heart

You never write me anymore
You kept some of my heart for yourself
I was waiting for it, but I think I'll let it go
My old heart means nothing anymore

Just one more thing before I part
I have to say it, I will not lie
Please know I once have loved you
Through my mailbox on the wall

Please, exuse me for the big size of the file.
I wanted to keep the size a little bigger than usuall, to let the details sink in.
I felt the words of the poem racing through my head as I was shooting this.
All about how sign of times alone can be felt in the heart, and even on a wall.

I wish I could write in english as easily as I do in hebrew.
I feel it's harder to translate the rhythm of the words.
I hope you like the picture, and the words as well.

nice job (again =P)!! do you come up w/ the poems first and then shoot the picture or take the photo and then write the poems? either way, its all great =) keep it up!

you write beautifully though, it really goes well together, the words and the picture.

is that an angle you intentionally wanted for your photo or was it actually slanted on the wall. because either way, it's very appealing. great work, as always.

This is amazing, the bloody traces in the wall reveal the extreme sadness and fatality of the situation...

utterly brilliant! both the shot and the poem! i would love to put your poem to music with my band, giving you the credit of course. i wont do anything until you say yes or no, and if you say no thats fine, i totally understand. Great work once again regardless!
