Description

In all your wisdom you made the earth for me to stand on
In all your glory you made the wind to blow my mind
In all your might you made the fire to warm my nights
In all your kindness you made me a witness of your work

30 seconds exposure of Wheat blowing in the wind (I thought about titling this piece Wheatness, but I felt nobody will really get it). I am the model for that.
Canon 5D mark II and a Canon 17-40mm with B+W 110 ND filter.

Watching this picture I feel like a fresh breeze is flowing out of my monitor into my face.
Even if the concept is quite common, I've rarely seen such an expressive photograph. Almost every detail - starting with the fluffy wheat field that seems to rustle in the wind through to the deep blue sky sending its stormy hazy energy ending with the obviously overwhelmed person who is surrounded by these forces of nature - emits so much power and provides this image a convincing authenticity.
There is only one point that doesn't please me: The blurry arms and back of the person. But considering that this is a 30 second exposure shot (this fact alone made my jaw drop) such a bagatelle is all too reasonable.
Great work!
