When water turns into blood
When the sun fades into black
When my heart pounds for the last time
When I will see you go.

I’m washed to the shore
Breaking into the rocks of loneliness
Aching my empty life without you
Drifting through memories of us

If I die now
I know life would be easier

*****

30 Seconds long exposure on the rocky shore of a little Island near Bodrum, Turkey.
I used ND*2 and -5 exposure compensastion, to get the good, and balanced effect of the exposure on the water, and the sunset colors.

The photograph is stunning, so peaceful yet it has a darkside to it.
And the poem adds to it with its dark kinda malanchony verses.

stunningly beautiful mate, both the photograph and the poem. :+fav:

Oh, I really like how the water came out. A really nice photo.

The only excuse for making a useless thing is that one admires it intensely. All art is quite useless.

Oh no, many... :D
It was about 20 sweaty minutes of one try after another.
The water wasn't so stormy, so I needed a good flow to make the water look hazy.
There were misses with under and over exposure ;-)

Man, i left a huge comment on this, but just before i pressed submit, my pc hang. I'll try to summarize cuz im lazy and tired.

This shot gives me mixed feelings, it makes me relax, because of the calmness of the water and the soothing sunset colors, however when i look at the dark, hard, rocks and the mysterious mist it scares me a little. Nonetheless, i think this is a truly amazing shot, you've captured both beautiful and the dark side in this.
Btw is that mist above the water, or an effect created from the long exposure? I'm sorry, i dont know much about the technical stuff. But i'm sure you've enjoyed takign that photo, that scene is really beautiful (even the scary bit)
Well, two beautiful photos from you on the same day, you really DO keep up the great work! :)
