WALL sTREEt by gilad WALL sTREEt by gilad
Mean while
Mid life
In the middle
Of the road

Getting cold
Getting old
In the middle
Of the road

-----

One hope
One day
In the middle
Of his life

A flower
A beauty
Will come up
And be his wife

*******

I was walking in Florentin (tel Aviv, Israel), and I passed a small playground.
Againts one of the walls I saw this, and it first it didn't look like much, but as I gazed into the tree, it seemed to me like I am looking at a painting.
Maybe it's the texture of the wall, the colour combination, the stains on the finishing of the wall, or all of the above, but all I had to do as a photographer is just pass it on to you.

I hope I did.

it is really hard to believe that, it is not manipulated. If it is the pure image, oh my god, why I can not find walls like this. Incredible shot.

it's really nice to see someone truely dedicated to their work and trying to pass off their vision of the world to everyone else, well i guess that's waht we photographers are here for.

I adore this photo <3 Would you mind if I put it in The Guthan? Next issue's main theme is "What is Beauty?" and I think this would fit perfectly. I don't know if we'd use it (I think it's awesome, but I have to chat with my photography editor) and I can only offer credit.

If it's ok, though, could you e-mail me the biggest file you have and the name you'd like to be credited with? (lauren.rizzotto@theguthan.com)

This is perhaps one of the most abstract shots I've ever seen. Usually most abstract
photographs feature a certain object in a very unusual angle or distance, but it's always
clearly noticable that it's a photograph. The abstract part about this is that the colours,
textures and lighting play wild to create an atmosphere that makes this look like a
manipulation. The fascinating part is that I think if I'd see the motive in reality this effect
might never come to existance, since you could look around and notice that it's still pure
reality... Really a mindbending shot. =p

This is absolutely beautiful, but if i may offer one small critique, the very end of a branch on the left side is not contained within the field of view it is the only one that breaks out. I find it to be extremely distracting in such an amazing photograph. If only the shot were one inch more to the left.(i know the view finder in a camera is not always dead on and i find it to be dissapointing in my own photographs when i realize my efforts to include or exclude something so close to the edge have failed) I'm sorry if that seemed harsh, but when i see such a photograph, when i find that one tiny little thing it just twists my insides.

please keep shooting and posting on DA. i love to look at your work!
