hi, i know you took this picture a very long time ago but I searched for D70 pics and it came up eventually... I just got a new D70 and im having some problems with it, mostly producing the types of colors you have in your pic... Most of my shots turn out very bland as if I am over exposing them, and when I try to under expose they turn out too dark, Im shooting at 200 ISO, on Auto WB-3... with Vivid image settings...
My photos can look good if I edit them in photoshop and play around with the levels, but I would like to be able to achieve such colour without having to edit so much...Every time I end up turning up the contrast on my pics to get anything resembling what you have there
Please help me out, Im new to the D70, and in fact it was used, and Im starting to get worried that somethings wrong with the camera because of the haze I see on most of my pictures...
Using a digital camera will basicly force you to use the levels and contrast on a minimum level. The photographs are soft, coming from the camera. That's just the way it is.
I shoot with the D70 and this is how it looks after minimum treatment, so the problem is not the camera
That's a really interesting texture, but looking back at it, specifically the girl on the bike, if it was actually a grainy image I suppose I you should be able to see it in her clothes, and I defenitely don't.
But yeah, like I said before, something about the presnence of only a single hue really grabs me.
Impressive shot. All that symmetry plus it's reflections make a wonderfully composed picture. Congratulations!
Just out of curiosity, the "noisy" look on the water, was it really like that or you made it that way? I'd really like to know which ISO you used on this one
