Under God Eye by gilad Under God Eye by gilad

God is watching me
I feel his presence running through my praying fingers
I hear his whisper on my deaf ears
I see him glowing with my blind eyes

I am in the middle of god's eye
All I can do is pray to stay here

Taken in Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca, Morocco.

At a glance I didn't think much of this picture... but the more I look at it, the more I enjoy it. The whole fish-eye effect works with the little verse you wrote below... he's almost in this encased bubble, trying his best to stay in.

Very nice shot and description.
This is an unusual gesture during an islamic prayer, having the arms in the air while being on the knees.

you should have made a crop without those speakers/ventilations in the middle of the ceiling, could be misunderstood :)
