Artist's CommentsNever been so alone as I was on my way to you Traveling on a lonely road and chasing a fading rainbow The road seems longer with every step I take A storm is about to silence my thoughts and so I break A tear in my eye reflects us passing by I'll still be on my way even when I arrive So allow me to look you in the eye, whisper my final goodbye **** Please, take a second to read the words. I feel it's more important here than my other pieces. It really completes my thoughts and message in this one. Experimental work for me, not my usual style of work. I almost never do modeling work, but I would love your feedback on that. I was looking for something to express something beautiful, yet have a very dark feeling to it, something to show the beauty, but have the expression and concept as well. Taken with a Canon 15mm F2.8 Fisheye, witch is a very unlikely lens for portraits or modeling. I did a few with a regular lens, but it simply didnt interest me to do the usual modeling shots. I really pushed for something different. I darkened the background a bit to bring her out. If you want to se the regular version --> [link] Ramat Hagolan, Israel. |

Hm, this indeed made me think. What my first reaction was to this picture was that I felt utterly taken aback, in a negative way too. The piece felt ugly, surreal even. But the strong underlying message in this deviation has me keeping my thumbs up for this.
