One day the tide went out
Leaving me through and beyond
Through my shelter
Beyond my ease
Unable to wake up
Feeling my the salt-crusted heart
My thought floating in the waves
All were empty
The sea hugging me tenderly
Inviting me in, deeper than existence
Through my shelter
Beyond my ease
I know I'm in the zone
Where the boats are all sinking
white masts calling all angles
But nobody will hear me think
I become blind to the sun
watching for darkness to take over
in the shimmering heat
I fall asleep
Through my shelter
Beyond my ease

Well, I have to admit It's been a long time since I shot a picture that I was so pleased with.
This one has most of what I love about photography.
The atmosphere, the concept, the abstract point of view.
Yet, all is obvies after realizing what we are looking at.
An everyday scene, forced to look at differently.
Well, this is what I love so much in photography, Finding the magic within our life.
Taken in Bodrum, Turkey.
Well I have to admit, it's been a long time since you've shot a picture that I've been so pleased with.
Breaking formulas with this one, wish you'd do that more often, I like it.
Curiously, I've seen so much of your work on here, but always digital, and haven't seen anything in regard to you printing any of it, other than selling prints through DA.
Do you ever print your work?
Have you had your Israel series in a gallery ever, or plan to try?
Short, what do you do with your work, besides parade it around for these electronic monkeys?
i was staring at this pic for 5 minutes!!! so beautiful! great concept!
