The path I lead you by gilad The path I lead you by gilad
It's not time to make a change
Just relax, take it easy
You're still young, that's your fault
There's so much you have to know
Find a girl, settle down
If you want, you can marry
Look at me, I am old
But I'm happy

Father And Son
by Cat Stevens

This was shot inside "Dizingof center" In tel-Aviv, which is a big shopping mall.
Usually It's not allowed shooting inside (as many other closed places in Israel), but I was invited for a project and that was a great opportunity for me to try and get something from my POV :)

The frame is tilted by the angle of the stairway.
I was standing there for about 10 minutes, waiting for a good shilouet to come.
I was very happy A father a son entering the frame, giving the expression of the father leading his son forword through life.

Someone else said "refresing"; that's it in the way your pieces makes me double-check it and pause and, at the least, be amused... well, in a lot of your shots, anyway. I love the way you think ... and toy with the shots, absorbing what's already there and spitting out an interesting translation. That's pretty much my definition of "art". Thanks a lot.

Great angle, it worked out perfectly, and the sillhouettes are very well defined.

You also managed to capture them in a good pose, it fits your comments.

creative angle, nice compositions; the foreground is really nicely silhouetted. Funny you should reference Cat Stevens, that terrorist scum! ;-) You heard he was arrested in the States and deported back to Britain as a terrorist? yeah, I really wish I could change nationalities sometimes... but no other countries will take me! :-) le sigh.

This composition is just amazing. The figures seem to be pushing against the red beams. Definitely great. It would be nice if there were a little bit more saturation, especially in the reds, but this is still awesome. +fav

you have a wonderful eye for sillohuettes. i dont know how you find all these silohuettes but you sure do-- i love that. you definatly have character and characteristics in your photography. id probably relate this to finding your groove in photography. ---- me, on the otherhand, im still looking for whats me. guess i havnt found it yet.

the concept of this image is really good. the fatherly figure in the front really does look like he is leading his son onward. good job in getting that point over.

Awesome symbolism and shot... it really fits nicely. And I really like how you put Cat Stephen's "Father and Son" in relation to it...really sinks it home.

Great photo!

Great shot. Wonderful emotion you portrayed. I like the angle too. It should seem off balance, but it doesn't come across that way at all.

I'm a fan of red so I'm digging how it punches up the light & dark almost giving it a layering effect. Nicely captured!

Eye-catching colours and composition. I love the fact that the stairs are horizontal.. kind of makes it look like a harder path. I also like the expression of those two silhouettes that sticks well with the story you put in the description box.
Room for improuvement ? maybe.. There are a few disturbing elements like the doorway I see (bottom left corner) or the boys silhouette that is cut. I think if you were further or had a wide-angle, it could have worked better.
Nervertheless a very good photo and a great concept ! Good job ;)
