When you left
It was raining
I was cracking
You were gone
I started searching
Searching for answers
I went soul tripping
With an old fortune teller
She said very little
But it felt like a lot
Dark paths of a long life
But without you
A job I wouldn’t like
Couple of kids, I don’t want
Money I wouldn’t have
And unavoidable death at the end
When you left
It was raining
I was cracking
You were gone
There is only one thing
Worse than being at the bottom
Is being where I am
And looking all the way down

I'm writing to you on behalf of Leeds University Philosophical Society.
Bi-annually we produce an academic philosophy journal; we mainly focus on publishing contemporary work in analytic metaphysics, language and logic.
Currently, we're working on compiling our Winter edition and are looking for a cover image. Personally, I think this image would be perfect for the cover of the upcoming journal. I must ask if it would be possible for us to use it?
I have seen this picture, and read the poem many times. I have felt that it, especially the poem is something special. It is holding some truth, that is not easy to see. Yesterday I got an insight.. Now I get it.
You are not alone. I am also looking all the way down. It's not easy, being high up. It's not easy, seeing all the pain, and suffering, and yet there is so little you are able to do. But seeing is a blessing. You can't do everything, but you can do what you can do. If you at least do what you can do, then you have reached greatness.

Thank you, Gilad, for the photo, and the poem.
