It's based on the same idea. Giving a spin on reality to create the illusion of a better one. I got up to a high place at the army base I was in (You can see some of it on the bottom of the frame) and started experimenting with the technique. It's not easy since the focal length of the background and the pen is very different. I had to also build the composition in a way the hand fits into the frame naturally, like a painter hand will fit over a canvas. But the hardest part was pointing the pen at the right position to complete the composition and blend the reality with the illusion. Since of the focal length the background is blurred in the viewfinder (though sharp at the end caused of the closed aperture) so it's hard to place it right. Well, this is the idea, and the exaction.
