I submitted this under Darkroom, and not my usuall conceptual just because i added the texture effect to the photograph.
Other than that, there is no manipulation.
I felt it gives the picture the same effect i love so much on the canvas print.
It adds some depth and character to the piece (tho i love it without it as well).

Infra red shot (Hoya R72) on Nikon 8800.
4 seconnds exposure.

I feel this one is very strong in mood and expression, what i really love about this piece.
I hope you would agree.

gosh that's beautiful. i love IR photos. the lighting and the dark edges are just amazing. and to top it all off.. that texture. THat is just excellent!

i like the darkness around the edges, it seems as if it is creeping up on the strength of the tree.
