Back with my good friend, my favorite soul tree. Seems to me everybody should know how to find it, after all, we must all search for our soul (even if we never lost it).
So, First, make sure you are in Israel. Beware of watching the news, you wont believe all the shit that goes on here...
Now, drive to Jerusalem, but don't enter the holy city. As the case in many holy places, the true sanctity is really outside. Now, turn left, just before entering Jerusalem, heading to the Dead Sea. It's a long drive so make sure you have enough water, and the car air condition works. Now, and this is important! Don't (and I repeat - Don't) stop along the way to buy Beigale (a kind of a pretzel). You will regret it later...
Keep driving. The road will descent and you will see signs showing you the height of the place youre passing from sea level. Soon you will reach the lowest place in the world! (-432 meters)
As soon as you pass sea level you will see a Big camel standing at the side of the road. He is always there. They say he will never die, and never stand anywhere else. If you want see him, know this is the apocalypse.
Ok, you reached the Dead Sea, turn right, driving south. You will pass some ruins on your left, and later on "Kibutz Kalia" on your right, where the kumeran caves are located [link] Keep going for another 30 kilometers, and you will reach a check up post of IDF (safety check). Be polite and say that you love Israel and "Yalla Beitar" (Don't ask...)
Break left into a dirt track heading towards the Dead Sea water. And drive safely. You drive for as long as the road lets you, and stop your car (believe me, you don't want to get stuck there). Get out of the car, and be sure to leave it locked. Don't be fooled that there is no one around. You can try me on this.
Walk about 500 meters south and you should see this beauty in the distance. Walk carefully, or the muse will disappear.
If you get there, know that the journey itself, is the soul you wanted to find.
I updated the file, getting rid of some of the noise and updating the frame to my current style. G
This is one of the most incredible shots I have ever seen. A smooth transition into an oblivious mind set that carries along an invaluable imagination. Sparking a sense of pure ecstasy and leaving a stoic embrace. A reminder of the true beauty of things to come, things to look forward to, things to remember, and many things to embrace. A vision of the true power of life and it's many rewards. In this moment this captures the very meaning of an unfinished life. It speaks true to the power within and grants the very essence of one's soul to lead itself to ingenuity, and perseverance. It cries get busy living or get busy dyeing.
