There is not one truth, there are many.
There is more than one sound to this sonnet.

The land where war finds its comfort,
Was created with more love than graves

Look at the paintbrushed sky
And see it's bluer than even your eyes.

Take a dive into this sonnet.
Now, a deeper dive.

Touch peace,
It's silent, but it's there.

Taken in Schem,
soon to be Palestine

Excellent shot, the contrast is spectacular. It almost looks like some sort of miniature. What kind of IR filter and white balancing are you using on this? I also have a D70, although I have so far been unable to get such pure whites when shooting IR with a custom white balance. Was there much post work done on this?
I love the colours here mate :)
great color. excellent shot.

:ahoy:I'm in love with a killer chocolatechip pancake maker :ahoy:
Lovely contrast between the sky and the greyscaled ground...has an eerie tranquil feel to it.
Beautiful contrast... it evokes a very unique atmosphere.

That evening,... - you go back again to the dazzling cafes,
You ask for beer or for lemonade...
- You are not really serious when you are seventeen
And there are green lime trees on the promenade...
Oh wow + fave. I wonder why your infrared makes the sky so moody and dark and mine doesn't?...I do use digital, but I have seen other digital pics that have the same effect. I'm so jealous :)
your words are very relaxing. but the photo, to me, feels a bit unsettling.
your intentions or maybe it is just me?
Well,
I sue the Hoya R72 for IR.
I use custom WB, setting it to grass color (while the filter is on of course).
Then I change channels of red and blue, to get to this.
Thank you :)

A different Look At Israel
A little of both.
The place itself, and the feeling it evokes, is ambivilent for me too, as it shows in the picture, and in the words.
Thank you :)

this is a very beautiful photo. the trees almost look like they're a miniature, like bonsai. And the contrast is amazing! :+fav:
