So, what is the common denominator to all of them?
Some of them are funny, some are good, some deal with real issues.
Some revolve around money, some around dating, some around twisted families.
Some with rich children or babes, some with finding a job, some of loosing it.

I'll tell you what I think...
All these reality shows don't deal with real life.
They don't show the homeless, the little problems we have in our everyday life, the don't show the starving, the old.
And why should they?
There is no rating in that. Who wants to see that?
Do we realy want to sit at home after a long day at work, and see the homeless trying to get by? see the old wrinckle?
Do we want to see shows dealing with such "everyday" issues with no action, no dilema we can relate to?
It seems that the answer is no. We don't want to see it.
Sad, but that is reality.

Thank god I'm not a TV station, and I don't care too much for rating.
So, let me introduce my reality show.
Florentin street, Tel Aviv, Israel.
Living on a bench, sharing a friendly street dog, just trying to get by.
I call it life. How would you call it?

I've asked for their premission, and they were very noble about it (just never stopped looking at the camera...)
I've spent long minuted lying on the boardwalk (I wanted the low angle to get a sort of strait forward feeling) shooting them, hoping to get a shot when they stop noticing me, when I could become a part of their reality. I was lucky with the dog too

This is different style than my usuall one, but different concepts need different approach.
