Driving away
Driving from you
My heart is numb
The sky is crying
Thinking of what you said
Promises, promises
Nothing that can bring the sun
I don't like the city
It seems to reflect
What I feel about you
My teardrops taking over my sight
Gods' teardrops falling on my car
Not even you can stop
The rain from crashing on my soul
*****
Rainy day, 2 Frames.
First one - Focus on the city behind my car window, with the rain drops out of focus.
Second one - Focus on the rain drops on the window, with the city out of focus.
Tel Aviv, Israel.
The difference between the two is a metaphore of the emotional state the "hero" of the short poem, is in.
It's "simple", but I find it effective to compliment the words and the Idea.
I hope you feel this.

i really like the colours... and the perspective... very *kil1k ish
i would like it better if you frame one under the other, so you could enlarge both pictures and we can see more detail ah, just my point of view, i like it anyway
First part of the poem reminds me the picture on the right (focus on the rain drops)
and the second part suits exactly to the left picture (focus on the city)
I did try putting them one under the second.
I think this allows looking at them at the same level.
It's true they are smaller, but the flow better together.

there's an interesting result if you do an "unsharpen mask" using the pic with the blurry drops.
makes both sharp...
basicaly you invert it, make it 50% opacity and use overlay in the layer properties(of course you'd have to match the buildings to be at the same spot)

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
