To be unique under this sky,
When all others look to the ceiling
You look at yourself, you look at them

On the sunny side of life
On the sunny side of life

Tech notes:
Nikon D70, Sigma 10-20mm.
I used the SB800 external flash for this one.
Manaully adjusted the settings to underexposure, and used the flash to get the right exposure on the close chrysanthemums. That got me the "studio" feel, on a sunny and clear day.

This was taken in a small field next to a gas station, right next to Zeelim, Beer sheva, Israel.

i piedi del viandante diventano fiori..
This is kind of ironic. I'm liking how brightly yellow the flowers are, despite the sky.

Good piece.

"If you need a hero you have diminished yourself in some way"
The clouds are so dramatic! Which contrasts really well with the brightness of the flowers. Stormy-looking clouds, bright yellow chrysanthemums - it looks rather forboding! As always,

Then the cat on the fiddle played hey-diddle-diddle
A jig that would wake the dead.
He squeaked and sawed and quickened the tune
While the landlord shook the man in the moon
"It's after three!" he said.
