Absolutely stunning piece, it has such feeling and character... it really embodies the mantra 'where there's a will, there's a way.' :D

I absolutly love the picture. I was thinking that it would look even more amazing if you could use a small appature and a really long exposure. On water it has an amazing effect and the smooth water which would develop would go perfectly with the very textured trees.

But those are just thoughts. I can appreciate if you had a different intent.

Keep up the good stuff

It's in broad day light, and the dead sea is dead calm, so there wouldn't be much effect.
To do it I would have to use ND filter and a tripod, and I didn't have them both :)
For next time :)

I like how simple this shot is, the symmetry is nice. The tones make the photo look peaceful and calm, yet at the same time, it has a sort of spooky feel to it as well.

Reminds me of an Ansel Adams shot...something about the simplistic style...as if you waited all day for the perfect shot. Beautiful reflection.

I would also crop of just a little from the left to balance the pic. But that's a very minor thing. This is just gorgeous, and it's not just because of the reflections, the sticks themselves are interesting. And I love how there's nothing on the background, gives it a very peaceful, if eerie, look. Would love to see a slow shutter speed pic too.

because the primary element is high contrast and not rooted anywhere in the frame (seems to float) along with how it is off-center is a bit distracting... i think it would look a whole lot better if you cropped up just a little into the shadows and center weigh the plants in the frame. just a suggestion ;)
