Artist's Comments

Images of sorrow, pictures of delight
Things that go to make up a life
Endless days of summer longer nights of gloom
Just waiting for the morning light
Scenes of unimportance like photos in a frame
Things that go to make up a life

As we relive our lives in what we tell you

Second Home By The Sea Lyrics / Genesis

****

30 Seconds of a a very cold night in Haifa, Israel.

I went for the "ghost like" effect on the model (Me) by making him "see through".
I'll explain:
The way to get it is not to stay in the frame throughout the exposure.
The camera was set on a tripod and set with a 10 seconds timer.
I was standing still for about 20 seconds, and then got out of the frame.

I thought of that song (by Genesis) while doing that.
If you don't know it, I recommend it.

Again, merry christmas.
G

Very cool.
I love the surreal feel to it and the subtle tones.

DEVIANTART! Nowhere will you find a more wretched hive of scum and villany...we must be cautious.

Maybe all men got one big soul that everyone's a part of. All faces are the same man....one big self.

its a good effect, gives the image a certain desolation.

My friend, life is a mystery; but you have one of the keys. Life is beauty; and you've got the secret. Life is wonderful; as you are.
I love you Gilad. Be blessed...
Merry Christmas to you and your family.
