Artist's Comments

As many of you know, 'Shalom' means Peace in hebrew.
Is it any wonder there is so much wire in it's way?

Tel-Aviv, Israel.

Very symbolic, the barbed wire (terrorism / war / prejudice / ...) preventing as, Israelis and Palestinian, to rich peace ("shalom";).
Good concept!
:iconkensaggy:
well like everyone said the contrast with the blue is good

but i liked the concept and the idea behind it all ;)

This is fantastic. You have such an amazing eye for photography, and although I haven't added any notes to your work yet, I've been appreciating your gallery for awhile now. This piece brought me out of the woodwork, so to speak.

I've begun to develop a bit of an affinity to Israel lately, as I've been doing some historical studies that surround Israel's history, and I've been learning Hebrew on the side. So, it's nice to be able to see real bits of Israel through your photography, instead of just burying myself in my textbooks.

Cheers (or should I say Shalom?), and keep up the good work. :)

I like the angle you have this. The blue really attracts me and such a different culture is extremely fascinating to me. Great colours! :D

all of the above comments stuck in a blender and served on a plate with wine next to it - my comment
