I so that in photoshop by adding an additional background layer larger than the photo. There are easier ways and software that can help you. Run "Framing" in cnet.com downloads engine and pick something up
got one more question for you (maybe too many questions) but i've been looking at your amazing sunset and sunrise pictures, and im just starting to use my flash, Ive read your tips but I was wondering how do you make the decision on which shots to use the flash on, and also how is it if you have used the flash, non of your photographs really show it. I know about steping down the flash a level or two and stuff, but I still get the unnatural light (not the attractive kind) in my photographs, anyway, amazing shot as always.
It takes practice my fiend, You can'tlearn without trying.
If you have strong backround and foreground the key is getting them both as good as you can, and using the flash helps
