Artist's Comments

Our time is short,
It takes a while to realize that
By the time we appreciate time,
Not much time is left

There are places, magic places
Where some people go to fish for time
Some spend a lot of time fishing with no success
And end up loosing more time

The ones that do succeed wouldn't tell
They keep it as a secret only to themselves
They say that the time the got
Is actually the time they spent fishing...

yay first comment (i think)! i like how the wave edges around the shore make it look misty and it contrasts with the texture of the shore which is kind of shiny. the 'shadows of motion' of the man near the centre is interesting, and lends a feeling of movement. furthermore, it catches the eye and makes you focus on it. however, i feel it would be better if the man was closer. you see, the first thing i focused on was the diamond shaped block in front. then the guy. unless the intention was that...what else...oh and the deep blue of the water contrasts beautifully with the land. very nice photo =)

You can't be lucky all the time...
...But you can be smart every day

Gilad as always you are amasing... you habituate me to fantastic creations of your imagination, and i`m not dissapointed - as usual...
You are one of my greatest artist here, and lot of us amators can teach a lot from you - keep up the great work..
And give some more clues about technic ;)

Home is behind. The world ahead. And there are many paths to tread. Thru shadow to the edge of night. Until the stars are all alight. Mist and shadows, cloud and shade. All shall fade. All shall fade.

Man that's nice. How did you do it? I mean, I have a D70, but if I try and take long exposures during daytime it just becomes horribly washed out. If I tried to take a 2.5 second shot the same time you took one mine would have just been a white photo.
Help?
