I want to dedicate this to my dear dad, that passed away three weeks ago.
I know that in his prayers, he always just wanted the best for his familt, for his kids.
The love of god, is a tool in the profilment of the world we live in. He is in a different world now, and now I pray for him.

And now, the picture:
In the jewish religion there is a belief that while saying a prayer, the hands must stay above the waist line, since everything benith it is forbidden in that sense. It doesn't make much sense to me, but it does for the believers.
Anyway, that's why while saying prayers they use a lacing strapped over the waist to play with, and make sure it's not going below the waist.

In my search for images evoking faith...I come across this one and wonder - why on earth is this a scrap?
It's beautiful - both the description and the image. I hope you are okay with me showing it - it's a very touching image to say the very VERY least...
...but when I read your description...you damn nearly had me in tears.
:cling: even though this is way late in the game - I offer my heartfelt condolences - and the utmost respect for being one of the select few on this site that I not only admire, but feel a certain affinity to your work.
