Four elements to the existence of life on our planet The cold and wet water The hot and dry sun The air that surrounds us all The earth that absorbers it all
The fifth element is the one that unbalance this equation. The fifth element is us, the righteous humans In the center of everything, playing god with this planet Changing nature to fit our way of living
The sun is hotter and the water is rising The air is polluted and the earth is dying But we are god and we are right We rather be blind then give up a fight
And this is why we go to wars Coexisting seems to be the hardest thing When we all are the most important And everything else must change
The same way we put ourselves above others We put ourselves above this planet, above life The elements of life are what brought us all here But the fifth element may take it all away. Us
****
A point to think about. Maybe to acknowledge our role in these elements. Maybe to simply learn how to enjoy this nature in a more passive way, rather than manipulate it. I would like my children, and my children's children to be able to still take photos like that. G

There's this disease called the freeway disease. It's when stupid, myopic and corrupt urban planners subscribe to this byzantine cult of road-worship - embarking on a journey of gridlock, road accidents, pollution, obesity, sprawl and social deprivation.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
