I'm no match for this world
I'm just doing what I can to hang on
I'm just breaking the waves of what ever comes
Comfortably watching another sun goes down

****

I'm very pleased with this shot.
It's hard to understand what this is (the background), and still this is very special to me.
This small kingfisher was actually by the sea, where I never thought I'll see a small birdie for a nature shot.
It's true this is a bird that fishes and usually found by water, but sweet water of lakes and not the salty Mediterranean sea (Haifa beach). Usually the arranged beaches in Israel don't have to many possibilities for these kind of shots.

This bird was sitting on a wave breaker, and the waves were crashing high behind it in the setting sun.
I was very lucky to capture this since she wouldn't stay too long in one position, and I had to try and follow her around.

I'm very happy of the result, so many things come together in one shot - The bird in this kind of a scene, the wave crashing creating that abstract texture and background, and the sunset colors enhancing it all...
