Listening to the heart of the old city
I can almost feel the presence of the ancient architect
Imagining how one day life will go through his stones
Making the foundation for generations to come

I raise my head to the sky
Inviting the cold night air shiver my soul
It is now that I feel the power of time
Shaping my tradition into stones

Can you hear me old architect?
Can you see me looking up at you?
Keep your brilliant work designing the veins
Our blood runs through for the longest time

Part 2 - Night Crack
Between the walls of the old city, Jerusalem.

If you look closely on the left, you can see the the temporary shelter - The sukkah, on the balcony, where the jews traditionally spend the Sukkot holiday.
You can read more about Sukkot here: [link]

The shot was taken with a tripod and the sigma 10-20mm

Beautiful..
the llamp is a good detail

The blue-ish colour somehow gives it the haunting and ghastly feeling of the buildings. The light on the right creates the cold, crisps and mysterious atmosphere. This is truly amazing.. instant :+fav:

Very very nice angle you found there!! I have two questions:

1) Is that Venus the little white point we see in the sky? I mean it's too bright to be a star and not enough to be the moon...So I guess it's a planet?!

2) What do you think of the Sigma 10-20 mm? I still don't know if I'm gonna take this one or the 12-24 by Nikkor which looks really awesome but a bit expensive :shakefist: Thank you ;)
