Artist's CommentsSomewhere a dream away There is a better place, a brighter day Somewhere that's safe, somewhere that's free Where we can be together A world of our own Where we know we belong A world of our own Where love is sure and strong can never die And lovers never say goodbye A World Of Our Own by Surface *** This was shot in a park in Ramat-Gan (Israel) called "The white hill". This shot is composed of two layers. One is the regular shot, in a Regular WB. The second is the Infra red shot with the Hoya R72 filter in WB in ' The two are layerd on top of each other, and blended in a way that the regular version is in Darken mode, to transfer the dark colours, like the sky colour, without transfering the colour on the treetops and living them in the IR effect. I hope you enjoy this expirimental stuff. G **** To learn more about Infra red photography, read my Journal here => [link] |

Life is just waiting around for the next disaster. The only consolation is, one of these times it'll be fatal.

I LOVE IR work . . .
I so want an IR filter myself.
I love the really ghostly, creepy look it seems to give the whole world.
This shot is wonderful, really disconcertingly beautiful.
