I took this hotel too (on the Tel Aviv beach isn't it ?)
and it gave a nice image too...
I love all your work and I think we lot in common...
Walking around is (/was) my "kef gadol"
Like for u, nature (that means all the living world - people, plants, buildings, a cigarette on the floor...) is my stage, my inspiration.
I started in Paris where I studyed photo but Israel is a great place too and Jerusalem is full of interests (not only for photo)
Like everyone I'm very sade about the " matzav" that is for me just like a uge black spot on the horizon.
We lost our freedom of moving...walking all around.
Once I was in Eilat on the beach and I stoped on my knees to shot a group of young femal buttocks passing there and a man that was with them made a move that I interpreted like a reflex move of defence...just like if I was a terrorist.
I thought if he had a gun he would perhaps have shot me.
Very strange feeling

let's hope for better days

A different Look At Israel
I really noticed how the man on the upper left balcony is the only one standing up, and how all the balconies to his right and directly below him are empty. I also noticed that all the curtains in the top row of balconies are fully drawn, which really help to emphasize the blue color.
Excellent composition and framing (is this how you actually framed this shot, or was cropping done on a computer?). This is a fantastic, complex photograph I will view again and again.
I took the original Gorsky motiv of patterns and gave it a little touch of my own, by breaking the pattern in small details.
Thanks a lot for this comment, and for really looking

I definitely see the Gursky influence (" Paris, Montparnasse 1993" comes to mind) where his is on a broad in perspective and yours is narrow in perspective. The narrow perspective makes your more intimate
So, while inspired by Gursky, still entirely your own.
a lot of comments don't really goes into the little details. just "wow" or " beautifull" and thats ok, because it lets you know they liked it, but you still dont know why. what you do is... well, i told you

i can almost identify the man standing up as you looking at the fuuny side of the pic, and i think we almost guess the kind of people living in each rrom by the chairs position!!
(iŽm wondering how i havenŽt seen this one...
(please if you have more that you think iŽll like tell me)
