A Short Cut To Panic by gilad A Short Cut To Panic by gilad

There you are, taking your short cuts
No time to do as I ask, as you suppose
It's no wonder I just keep wondering what will happen next
Hiding and looking over your shoulder at all times

****

On the streets of New Delhi, a short cut gets a little dramatic for the worried sister.

Indeed strange perspective effect because the bottle reflection would say the girl would be behind the barber but I've read your comment and see that she is to the right.

Also the reflection is so perfect that I was thinking if she wasn't a painting :)

General comment
I love this shots you've taken in India. I love the tones, the contrast and everything that makes special about this kind of photography. It reminds me of Steve McCurry's photography style. I bet you know him, if you don't know him here is a link steve mccurry to his official website.

I don't know what makes special his photography, but this shot you've taken and in another's eyes reminds me of his style.

Technical comment
The tones and contrast seem to be so perfect. What exposure do you for this shot and for in another's eyes ? Matrix or spot? Thank you in advance

100% surreal shot.

People here already said about the girl in the mirror, that it looks like a painting or a window or a hole in the wall. But in a background of all this I had following thought "Is she next to the barber?" - Because her haircut is just terrible :D

in a way it looks like that the a barber is working in a painters shop or the painter is working at the barber.

Im just so used to seeing the image of someone getting their hair cut with a mirror across from them. At first I thought this was a painting because of that girl, but then I realized you took that shot, and what a wonderful shot it was.

Great capture!
At the first glance I thought it is a picture or a photo on the table. Then I realized it's a mirror :)
Actually the stranger thing in this situation is the fact that the boy is turning his head for the barber. As I know in our world, the barber is the one who should move around the client's head, am I right?

Shortcuts by the recently deceased Robert Altman: great movie! :-) And I love street photography. Love the sister in the mirror. Where was she standing? Clever angle of shooting, cause you can't see her outside the mirror, so it looks like...tis not a mirror but a window...

her face in the mirror gives me the impression that she isn't near her brother. She's actually elsewhere, when her sibling radar goes off. The reflection is just a representation of their connection as siblings.
